🤣 I love it thank you! Fortunately most of the side effects you hear on tv (yes it’s legal to advertise medication in this country...don’t even get me started on that...) are generally extremely rare. But I would say about 1/4 of my pts who take PPIs like Prilosec are on it because their other meds are causing acid reflux. I have to show this to my team they will love it 🥰

Haha Lilikins! I’m the patient you would be frustrated by. My doctor calls in a prescription, I read the side effects and decide to never pick it up cuz the side effects are worse than whatever I’m dealing with!
My wife decided that she didn't want to suffer the side-effects of chemo and radiotherapy and opted for palliative instead. Quality of life is just as , if not more then, important as quantity of life. A few pleasant months was, to her, better than four months of sickness. This is an important option that should be fully explained to terminally ill patients.
Yup I always tell people - you are the one in charge of your health. I’m happy to tailor to whatever people are comfortable with. What works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another. Quality of life is always the most important. I’m happy so long as people actually know what they are taking and why and make well informed decisions about their health.
Heather, I would prescribe you two weeks of Hawaï but ..... sunburn can be one of the side effects! 😅
